The personal investor's guide to property investment has been produced by Reita, the property information portal, with kind support from the Investment Property Forum Education Trust (IPFET).

The IPFET, whose Patron is Sir John Ritblat, is one of the leading UK property industry charities. It exists to advance education in connection with commercial property. It also supports and promotes research into the operation of the property investment market and has funded a range of leading projects.

The Investment Property Forum (IPF) is an independent membership association with over 1,900 individual members drawn from a wide range of different professional commun ities including fund management, surveying, law, banking and accountancy. The Forum's mission is to improve the awareness, understanding and efficiency of property as an investment, for members and others in the wider business community, including government, by:

  • Undertaking research and special projects

The IPF originally commissioned 'Understanding Commercial Property Investment a Guide for Financial Advisers' in 2003 (updated in 2007), upon which this website is in part based.
